Funding possiblities

Hi.
I am writing on Southeast Asian prehistory, but I don't get any funding for my project in Germany. Does anybody know of some grants or fellowships? Perhaps someone has a suggestion...

I am working on Vietnamese prehistory. I am looking for a funding possiblity which allows me to go to Vietnam for some months, get some probes, visit museums and archives, talk to other scientists.
I also need some financial support for analyzing my probes. And eventually I want to publish all my research.
In Germany, stipends are only for people under 30.
If you have a suggestion where I can ask, I would be very thankful...

Well, In germany exactly I don't really know... But I heard about a great german vietnamese archaeology specialist I don't remember his name but I think you probably know him, you should ask him by e-mail!
If you're now in university and already in germany, I can advise you to ask:
-Your teachers
-To contact by e-mail any teacher who is concerned with vietnamese archaeology/history, they have many informations most of the time
-To visit the international office of your university. They are the most competent to help you!
-To go on the german ambassy in Vietnam website. And Vietnam ambassy in Germany! They probably have funding opportunities!
-Then: I advise you to search a lot on Internet by Google. Internet is really the best way to find any information...
If you try all these possibilities, I'm sure you'll find Funding or grants available!
